With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas Scott Throop of Boynton Beach, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 13, 2026 at the age of 50. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Thomas may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He is survived by: his wife Rhonda; his children, Allison and Andrew; his parents, Ronald and Joyce; and his siblings, Cindy Martens (James), Missy Hannah (Will) and Steve Throop (Wendy). He is also survived by many nephews, a niece, aunts, uncles, cousins, many friends, neighbors and his brothers/sisters.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the CWA Local 3112 Scholarship program or St. Jude's Children's Cancer Research.
