He is survived by: his daughters, Welland and Ontario; his wife Franceschina Ligotti; his daughters, Deanna Repko and Maria Bostock; his sons-in-law, James Repko and Lawrence Bostock; his siblings, Peppino Butera, Louis Butera, Marietta Butera and Victor Butera; his in-laws, Veneranda Mussari and Ada Buonocore; and his caregiver Marie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family suggests donations be made in Umberto's memory to The American Heart Association or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
