He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Gans (Likar) and Albert Gans; and his siblings, Edward, Richard, James, Paul Gans, Lois Anzalone and Nancy Bailey-Fury.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Gans (Gregorich); his children, Ronette Piazza (Sean) and Daniel Gans (Denise); his grandchildren, Jovani, Sebastian, Brody, Simon, Cianna and Sadie; and his pet Teddy.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431). A prayer will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 10:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ambrose Catholic Church (1705 Burry Cir Dr, Crest Hill, IL 60403).
