He was predeceased by: his parents, George Shoemaker and Esther Shoemaker (Pfeffer). He is survived by: his wife Connie Shoemaker (Rager); his son David Shoemaker; his daughter-in-law Karen Shoemaker (Conklin); his grandchildren, Matthew, Michael Shoemaker and Megan Shoemaker of Bradenton; and his extended family, Mary, Dave Campagna, Nettie and Dallas Turner. He is also survived by numerous nieces, great-nieces, nephews, and great-nephews.
