He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred LaFrance and Sylvia LaFrance; his former wife Barbara Jean Rice; and his siblings, Doris Chvisuk, Wilfred "Bill" and Theodore "Ted" LaFrance.
He is survived by: his daughters, Donna LaFrance-Chappell of North Haven, CT and Renée (Gregory Anastasio) of Hamden, CT.; his granddaughters, Kristy Sampietro (Marshall) of Cheshire, CT and Taylor Iannitelli (Vincent) of Commack, NY; his great grandchild Gianina Bella Iannitelli; his wife Jane Craven; his children, Tim Craven (Jennifer) and Teri Craven Andrews; his grandchildren, Mitchell (Bonnie), Michael, Haleigh, Katie and John; his great grandchild Millie Craven; and his family, Les, Pam, John, Bronwin, Donald and Jane. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
When COVID came along, Donald was able to work from home, but if anyone came to visit, he made sure you knew not to bother him from 9:30-12:30 as that was the dedicated time for his outbound calls to patrons to be made.
