He is survived by: his wife Prema; his children, Dr. Sanjay Yathiraj (Sharmila) of Bradenton, Florida and Sapna Yathiraj (Jeff Walker) of Washington, D. C.; and his granddaughters, Salina and Seyona. He is also survived by siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
