He was predeceased by: his parents, Rita Fogarty, (Larkins) and Edward Fogarty, Sr. (Ned); his daughter Patricia Gallegos (Jodie); and his siblings, Jeri Stopper, Janice Wilson, Janet O'Blenis and Mike Fogarty.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Fogarty (Terrel); his children, David (Kathy), Beth Fogarty-Moniz and Debbie Marchbank; his siblings, Christine Miller (Gene), Peggy Kluezezynski (Jim) and Jim Fogarty; and his brother-in-law Robert "Bob" Terrel. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
