She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Bauer and Edna Bauer (Castor); her husband Harry Tolson Smith; and her siblings, Edna Kucinski, Mary Ann Henry, Virginia Clarke, Ruth Gillespie, Alfred "Bud" Bauer and Harold Bauer.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Miles of Annapolis, Mark Smith of West Norriton and Reed Smith of Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania.; her son-in-law William Miles; and her grandchildren, Melissa, Martin, Erica of Pennsylvania and Kelana of Jakarta, Indonesia..
