He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Phillips and Adriene Phillips; his former wife Sara Sharp Phillips; his daughter Barbara Denise; his sisters, Kathrine Rich and Donna Bouchez; and his stepchildren, James, Greg Samuels and Sherry Bush.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Phillips; his children, Terry Silver (Bill), Sandy Goldbach (Mark) and Matt Phillips (Bonnie); and his stepsons, Andrew, Ted Samuels (Gina) and Brad Smith (Qwen). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and his faithful dog, Buddy.
