He was predeceased by: his parents, John Carmichael and Lena Carmichael (Morrison); and his sisters, Isabel Black and Madeline Dillon. He is survived by: his wife Ethel Carmichael (Beaton); his children, Sheila Lacoss of Woburn, MA, Wayne Carmichael (Theresa) of Bedford, MA, Cynthia Carmichael (John Sullivan) of Easton, MA and Gayle Van Peenen (Pete) of Bradenton, FL.; his grandchildren, Katherine, Tess, Emily, Adam, Keith, Daniel, Melanie and Nate; and his great grandchild Elsie.
