She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas White and Mary White; her husbands, William Straitwell Sr. and John Lazar; and her children, Richard Straitwell and Janet Miller (Straitwell).
She is survived by: her children, William Straitwell, Jr. (Wendy), Diane Straitwell, James Straitwell, Christopher Lazar and Dean Dixon (Christy); her grandson Ryan Miller; and her sister Mary Elizabeth "Betsy" King. She is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Saints Peter and Paul the Apostles Catholic Church (2850 75th St W, Bradenton, FL 34209).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Helen's memory may be made to St.Judes Children's Hospital or Tidewell Hospice of Bradenton, FL.
