With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Ray of Bradenton, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 5, 2026 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ann Ray Casta and Glen Ray; his sister Margret Lou Ross; his son-in-law Earl Whigham; and his granddaughter Crystal Sands.
He is survived by: his spouse Jesse E. Ray; his children, Janet Ray of Bradenton, Shirley Flinn (Mike) of Ruskin Fl, Saundra Whigham of Jesup Ga and James Eugene Ray (Sandra) of Bradenton; his grandchildren, Chris, Heather Ray, Josh, Bobbie Ray, Tommy, Bethany Lee, Candi, Jacob Pitts, Lee Sands, Joel Whigham and Carl Whigham; and his sister-in-law Cully (Donna Rowell). He is also survived by 27 Great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren: brother.
