He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Lester and Gladys Lester; his wife Nancy; and his siblings, Emily and Charles.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Echols (David) and Tim Lester (Erryn); his grandchildren, Wyatt Echols of Palmetto, Florida., Ella Lester of Palmetto, Florida. and Avery Lester of Palmetto, Florida.; and his brother Raymond Lester (Dalane) of North Carolina.
