He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James L. Wright and Mabel V. Wright; his wife Doris; his sister JennyAnn Woods of Chester; his children, Dr. John M. Wright (Sue Hepburn) of Issaquah and Jennifer Kenney (Michael) of Wesley Chapel; his grandchildren, Amanda Brian, Effie and Christopher Kenney; and his great grandchild Vance Brian.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First United Methodist Church Bradenton or Tidewell Hospice.
