He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Kabaniec Sr. and Rose Kabaniec (Brostek); his sister Connie Melnik of New Smyrna Beach, FL.; and his stepson Christopher Porter. He is survived by: his wife Linda Porter; his former wife Sherry Rice; his son Curtis Dean (Becky) of Atascadero, CA.; his grandchildren, Scott Denison, Megan Denison and Samuel Perry; his sister Paula of Bunnell, FL.; his sibling's children, Devin Melnik and Vanessa Hayward; his stepchildren, Michael Porter, Jay Porter, Michelle Zayatz, Joseph Porter and Rob Porter; and also, Deborah Moore of Arundel, ME, Lisa Denison (Lee) of Colrain, MA and Karen Perry (Charles) of Monument Beach, MA.. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
