It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John McDonald Jr. of Bradenton, Florida, born in Cortez, Florida, who passed away on January 17, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sr. McDonald and Mamie "Ruth" McDonald (Bonnell); and his siblings, Joseph, Jacqueline Mofield and Judith Augsburger.
He is survived by: his wife Rosalie Wachtler; his children, Kathleen McDonald of Red Wing, Susan McDonald-Conroy (Kevin Conroy) of Trempealeau, WI, Cynthia Sutherland (Todd) of Windsor, CO and John J. McDonald (Amy) of Wanamingo; his grandchildren, Dan, Ellen, Jen Conroy, Clifton, Eve, Hugh Sutherland, McKayla, Kiara and Tyson Johnston; and his sisters, Jane Treglown and Joyce Davis (Leslie "Sonny") of Morehead City, NC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
