We are sad to announce that, on January 19, 2023, at the age of 79, Julia Botet Fogarty of Bradenton, Florida, born in Havana, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Botet and Angélica Fernández; and her brother Antonio Botet. She is survived by: her husband Eugene Fogarty; her children, Cristina Najmy (Louis), Ryan Fogarty (Julie), Lyle Fogarty (Sharone) and Molly Buser (Paul); her niece Charlene Pelaez; her grandchildren, Zoe, Molly, Sara Najmy, Sadie, Megan, Caleb Fogarty, Angélica, Nicholas, Brady, Maria Fogarty, Liliana, Eva, Julia and Sebastian Buser; her great-niece Carolina Pelaez; and her great-nephew Michael Pelaez. She is also survived by many other cousins and relatives.
In lieu of flowers, Julia's family requests that a donation be made in her memory to support the new S.T.E.A.M. Center at Saint Stephen's Episcopal School or to the Alzheimer's Association, Florida Gulf Coast.
