It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Elsik of Bradenton, Florida, who passed away on September 13, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Lawrence departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Lawrence may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Lawrence leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Elsik and Florence Elsik (Zoretic); and his significant other Opal Taylor. He is survived by: his daughter Laura Jean Big Eagle; his sister Joane Schrieder; and his cousins, Gail Prchal and Gloria Dusatko.
