With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leatrice Shanley of Bradenton, Florida, born in Starrucca, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 16, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Shanley Sr.; her parents, Una Mae and Robert Whitmore; her siblings, Robert Whitmore, Jr. (Laura), Louella Wheeler (Irv) and Polly Hobart (Ed); and her granddaughter Jennifer Sprague.
She is survived by: her close friends, Katie Armstrong and Gina Wilson; her children, Michael Jr. (Lyn Shanley), Pamela Ann, Sheila Sloma (Bob Bottenberg), Pam (Gregg Hartz Sr.) and Kristine Shanley of Rochester, NY; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Freeman (Marshall), Michael Shanley III, Megan Shanley DeAngelo, Bridget Veratti (Tom), John Sprague (Kate), Laura Sprague, Robert Sweet, Gregg Hartz Jr. (Susan), Nicholas Hartz (Kristen) and Ashlea Hartz; and her great grandchildren, Noah, Riley, Brooke, Brady Lea, Jake, Ellie, Gwen, Tommy, Tyler, Brayden, Kyle, Alanna, Justin, Samantha, Emily, Breann, Macie, Averie and Kaden. She is also survived by her family, extended family and friends.
