She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dorothy Poynter and Rufus Poynter; her children, Denny (Mary) of Indianapolis, Janet Raker (Mark) of Indianapolis and Karen Burton (Jim) of Bradenton; her grandchildren, Jessica Burton, Katie Ewing, Kelli Raker, Alyssa Jackson, Justin Burton and Nic Rusher; her husband Merlin F. Rusher; and her son Steve Rusher. She was also cherished by great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
