It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Jeanne Heerd of Bradenton, Florida, who passed away on March 25, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Walter Heerd (Charlie); her daughters, Claudine Knisley, Diane Dougherty and Beverly Moore; her sons-in-law, Julian Knisley, Joseph Dougherty, Sr. and Patrick Moore; her grandsons, Charles (Dorothy), David Knisley (Megan), Joseph, Jr. (Alicia) and Christopher Amy Dye (Mike); her great grandchildren, Charles Knisley, Jr., Xander, Gracyn, Olivia Knisley, Kailyn, Jordan, Brandon, Ryan Dougherty, Emma, Grady Dye, Natalie and Alaina Pistorius; and her sister Claudine Mareels.
In recent years, Marie struggled with congestive heart failure but survived COVID-19 in March 2020.
