It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlene Kay Saum of Bradenton, Florida, born in Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on February 26, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Smith and Thursa Smith; and her siblings, Donna, Bonna Smith and Glenn Smith Jr..
She is survived by: her husband John E. Saum; her sons, Eric Saum (Erica) of Cape Cod and Adam (Erica Joy) of Farmington Hills, Michigan; her granddaughters, Gracey, Zoe Saum of Massachusetts, Elizabeth, Addison and Emily Saum of Michigan; her sister Mary Ann Garlock (Donald) of Grand Ledge; and her sister-in-law Norma Oakley-Smith of Petoskey, Michigan. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
