He is survived by: his wife Nancy Labecki (Dedynski); his sons, Jay (Marlin), Wade and Timothy Labecki (Ken); his grandchildren, Nathan Labecki (Coryn), Maddie Delrio (Miguel) and Jessica Labecki; and his great grandchildren, Aiden and Wren.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers or gifts that family and friends consider donating to Alzheimer's disease and dementia research or Milwaukee Police Historical Society.
