We are sad to announce that, on May 22, 2022, at the age of 87, Melvin Braaten (Bradenton, Florida), born in Greenbush, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ole Braaten and Eva Braaten; his siblings, Duane Braaten and Jeannette Klein; and his close friend Marie Krall.
He is survived by: his children, Alan Braaten (Brenda) of New Orleans, LA and Renee Giddings (Mark) of Costa Rica; his granddaughters, Jennifer Braaten (Andrew Simmons) and Katherine Braaten Eldred (David); his great grandchild Sabrina Simmons; and his siblings, Edward Braaten and Mavis Pidd (John).
Memorial donations may be directed to American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association.
