He was predeceased by: his grandparents, F. K. Allen, William and Hazel Brier; his stepfather George Miller; his siblings, Matthew "Dwayne" Brier, Jennifer Miller and Shannon Doss; his brother-in-law Bill Doss; and his son James Dean Brier.
He is survived by: his parents, Joan Brier (Ed Neimiller) and Danny Brier (Betty Brier); his stepmother Sharon Chofey (Mark Chofey); his aunts and uncles, Carolyn Allen (Winnie), Michelle Burris (Darryl Burris), Mike McCormack (Diane McCormack), Jenny and Andy Morel; his siblings, Del Brier, Lisa Messina, Becky Bartel and Dena Stapleton; his sons, Michael Brier, Wesly Brier, Noah Brier (Carly Brier) and Matthew Brier (Britany Brier); and his grandchildren, Maddie and Lenna Brier.
