He is survived by: his father John Mitchell Brooks; his friend Frank Cale; his daughter Natasha Brooks; his wife Charmaine Copeland Brooks of Richmond, Virginia.; his children, Reuben "Doc" Copeland, Oliver "Peal" Copeland, O'Neal Copeland, Dale Copeland Maples, Frank Cale, Jim Caproni, Robyn Harton and Clarisse Harton; and his cousins, Brooks (Cheryl Brooks), Donna Brooks Lucas, Autumn Brooks, Jeannette Giannetta and Kristin Riggs (Durand). He is also survived by loving nieces, great-nieces, and nephews.
