He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvatore Massa and Concetta Lubrano Massa; and his sons, Alan Massa and Paul Massa. He is survived by: his daughter Diane Massa; his grandchildren, Emily Massa and Luke Massa; his great grandchild Eka Joy Anzures; his wife Gloria Insua Massa; his stepchildren, Rodriego, Ximena and Jason Prieto; his stepgrandchildren, Michelle, Camilla, Lucas and Valeria; and his brothers, Tony Massa and Eugene Massa. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nephews and nieces, daughters-in-law, a son-in-law and a large group of friends.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) or Consumer Reports (donate.consumer.org).
