He was predeceased by: his parents, John Monaghan and Virginia Monaghan; and his siblings, Virginia Hermes (Ginger), Carol Fagnan, Maureen, John Monaghan (Sean) and Kevin Monaghan.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Claudia Gardner; his stepsons, Bart Gardner (Alicia Taflinger) and Bret Gardner (Jen Inskeep); and his siblings, Mary Lou Monaghan (Martin Gable), Teresa Minton (Jim Minton) and Timothy Monaghan (Sally Monaghan). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
