We are sad to announce that on June 14, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Rabbi Andrew Hechtman of Bradenton, Florida. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Rachel Hechtman; his children, Zev Hechtman (Samantha Margolis) and Haim Hechtman (Ariel Moyer); and his brother Marc Hechtman.

In lieu of flowers, the family is suggesting contributions be made to the Academy for Jewish Religion in Rabbi Andy's memory.

My deepest condolences. Andy was a wonderful guy. It was a great pleasure to work with him. He was more than a colleague; I considered him a good friend. I am sorry that, as happens in life, we lost touch over the years. I hope you and your family are doing ok. Again, my warmest condolences. Iris Morrison”
