He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Settlemire and Eva Settlemire; and his son Daniel Duane Settlemire. He is survived by: his wife Lee Joyce Settlemire; his children, Robin Renee Holden, David Duane Settlemire (Temple) and Daron Duane Settlemire (Yvonne); his stepchildren, Elizabeth Demming and Paul Demming; and his grandchildren, Angela Marie Quintanar (Zachary), Richard Duane Settlemire (Jessica), Shaun Paul Holden (Amanda), Christopher Michael Settlemire, Joshua David Settlemire (Tracy), Sabrina Lynn Settlemire, Stephania Marie Settlemire, Zoey Carpenter, Ciara Nicole Settlemire, Zachary Ryan Settlemire, Lindsey Aline Priest (Will) and David Dalton Settlemire. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
