He was predeceased by: his wife Marjorie Brockway Houk of Niles, Michigan.; his son Richard C Houk; and his grandson Christopher E. Houk. He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Phyllis Okun. He is also survived by three granddaughters, five great grandchildren.
