He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Osborne Terry; and his siblings, Aileen Erickson, Douglass Terry and David Terry. He is survived by: his daughters, Suzanne Terry of Center Barnstead and Jacqueline Terry of Asheville; and his siblings, Jeanne Cunningham of Poughkeepsie and Fredrick Terry of Riverhead.
He was also a founding member of We Can Weekend, a retreat for hospice patients and their families in New Hampshire, and he served on the board of directors for the American Cancer Society while living there.
