He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Brockelman and Helene Brockelman; and his sister Roberta Brockelman. He is survived by: his wife Shirlee; his children, Felicia Waldron (Michael) of St. Augustine, FL, Stephen Brockelman (Pamela) of Falls Church, VA and Andrea Malcolm (James) of Bradenton, FL; and his grandchildren, Shawn, Brigid Waldron, Haidyn, Henry Brockelman, Jack and Samantha Malcolm. He is also survived by brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, and several nieces and nephews.
