He is survived by: his children, Renee and Jeffery; his wife Darlene Engstrom of Flint; and his brother Gary Kassien. He is also survived by his two children, 4 grandkids and 5 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Manitowish Waters Historical Society.
