It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Ann Buchanan of Bradenton, Florida, born in Dagsboro, Delaware, who passed away on September 24, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kendall Shockley and Ida Adkins; her husband David Buchanan; her son Curtis Millman; and her siblings, Howard Shockley, Daniel Shockley, Janet Ireland, Kathleen Bancroft and Donald Shockley.
She is survived by: her children, Marilyn West, Alton Millman, Jr. (Rhoda), Ray Millman (JoAnna), Stanley Millman, Rick Buchanan (Wendi) and Richard Hardin (Linda). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to ASPCA or your local animal shelter in Ruth's name.
