He was predeceased by: his parents, John O'Brien and Evaline O'Brien; and his sister-in-law Gail O'Brien. He is survived by: his wife Gale; his daughters, Kristin Slicker (Brian) and Alyssa O'Brien; his grandsons, Rowan and Corbin Slicker; his brother John O'Brien Jr.; and his nephews, Shaun O'Brien (Jesyka) and Jason O'Brien (Stephanie).
