With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sherrin K. Mapps (Bradenton, Florida), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She is survived by: her parents, Dr. April Jones Glasco and Elder John Mapps, Jr.; her sisters, Sherral Mapps Johnson (Emmanuel), Sianda Mapps and Shaquess Mapps; and her grandfathers, Rev. John Mapps, Sr. and Elder Clinton Jones (Edie). She is also survived by children of her own, she leaves nieces and nephews who were like her children, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and sorrowing friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bethel Christian Methodist Episcopal Church (1719 22nd St, Sarasota, FL 34234). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Happy Gospel Church (1915 53rd Ave E, Bradenton, FL 34203).
