He is survived by: his wife Cosette "Cozy" Powell (Smith) of Bradenton; his children, Shawn Powell (Dawn) of Bradenton and Tiffany Barbee of Bradenton; and his grandchildren, Ashley Taylor, Shae-Lynn, Lidia and Ashton. He is also survived by several brother and sister-in laws, and nieces and nephews.
