He is survived by: his mother Lois Bekkerus of Moorhead; his wife Karen Morgan; his children, Tyler Bekkerus (Emily) of Bradenton, Nicole Bekkerus and Morgan Bekkerus of Apollo Beach, Florida; his grandsons, Wesley, Deacon, Graeme, Mason and Camden of Bradenton, Florida; and his siblings, Mark Bekkerus (Linda) of Glyndon and LeeAnn Bekkerus of Breckenridge.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wright Funeral Home (605 2nd Ave S, Moorhead, MN 56560). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
