He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Tidwell and Rufus Tidwell; and his brother Sidney. He is survived by: his wife Ruthie of Andrew's United Methodist Church; his daughters, Laura (Tim) and Brenda (Brian); his granddaughters, Morgan (Cameron) and Ali; his great grandchildren, Evie and Zane; and his siblings, Mary and Fred.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the St. Andrew's United Methodist Church (3315 S Bryan Rd, Brandon, FL 33511). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 4:30 PM at the same location.
