With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Lou Francis (Brandon, Florida), who passed away on May 13, 2026 at the age of 104. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Betty may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Betty touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar C. Grable and Maria A. Grable; her husband Raymond M. Francis; her daughter Norma R. VanSelow (Douglas L. VanSelow); and her sisters, Kathryn Stokes, Annus Swinford and Ruth Rule.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jeanette L. Wilson (Robert R.) of Charleston Illinois, Debora D. Crawford (Max L.) of Seffner and Ramona J. Meryman (Dale) of Dade City, Florida; and her grandson David J. Francis (Barbara) of Fishers, Indiana.. She is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, 18 Great-Grandchildren and 6 Great-Great Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association in her honor.
