He is survived by: his children, John Eric Blomquist (Julie Hunter Wallace) of Brandon, Julie Blomquist of Sarasota and Susie Burns Blomquist of Brandon; his daughter-in-law Lori Felker Blomquist of Gibsonton; his grandson John Eric Blomquist, Jr. (Chloe Blomquist) of Brandon; his sister Sarah Ann Chauvin of Baton Rouge; and his pet Samantha "Sammie" Sue.
