With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy A. McCarthy of Brandon, Florida, who passed away on November 29, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Dorothy's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Dorothy has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold R. Davis and Esther L. Davis (Beyer); her husband Charles G. McCarthy; and her brothers, Robert and James (Charles).
She is survived by: her children, Erin Trnka (Curt) of Brandon, FL, Tracy Harper (Greg) of Walhalla, ND and Michael McCarthy (Rita) of Morton, IL. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
