With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edwin Van Valkenburg of Brandon, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 5, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Edwin leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Edwin may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his wife Annette Van Valkenburg; his parents, Edwin Van Valkenburg and Bessie Van Valkenburg Setzer; and his siblings, Ronald Van Valkenburg and Grace Wallace.
He is survived by: his children, Debra McCoy (Romie) of Dover, Donna Diaz (Jesus) of Seffner, Dianna Jordan (Benny) of Brandon and Edwin Van Valkenburg II (Rene) of Plant City; and his sister Catherine Nix. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
