He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jane Capps Miller; his parents, Weaver Earl Miller and Margaret Pearl Miller; his brothers, Arthur Jackson Miller and Harry Earl Miller; his children, Margaret Jane Miller and Darrell Roy Miller; his adoptive daughter Linda Shook; his children, June Stephens (Dale), Diane Shook (Clay), Janice Shook (Michael) and Eldridge Roy Miller, Jr. (Bela); his grandchildren, David Rodgers, Thomas Bourcy, Clayton Taylor, Asha-Ayana Hand, Andy Shook, Laura Lee Shook Watts, Miah James, Devon James and Joseph Shook; and his great grandchildren, Kassandra Thompson, Bradley Rodgers, Asher Shook, Avery Shook, Zander Shook and Chase Watts.

He also collected, cleaned, and sold scrap metal, donating thousands of dollars to the church building fund.
