She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolfo Dastas Gutierrez and Eulogia Caraballo Rivera; and her husband Carlos Barreto. She is survived by: her son-in-law Raymond Torres; her daughter Lisette; her grandsons, Raymond Jr. and Ryan; and her siblings, Hermes, Nilsa and Melvin. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home (2323 W Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Nativity Catholic Church (705 E Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511).
