He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Hampton and Ilde Hampton; his children, Shelia Sue Cofield, Joey Nelson Hampton and Johnny Wayne Hampton; and his sisters, Joyce, Mable, Violet, Freda and Mary Elizabeth.
He is survived by: his wife Lorena Hampton; and his grandchildren, Joey Hampton (Shannon), Vanessa Chevillot (John), Amy Gregory (Ryan), Lee Cofield (Angela) and Jessica Heard (Ron). He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Landmark Baptist Church (6021 Williams Rd, Seffner, FL 33584). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
