It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Torres (Brandon, Florida), who passed away on October 10, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maria Torres to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Carlos Torres; her siblings, Mario Diaz, Wilson Rodriguez, Frank Rodriguez, Constancia Diaz and Aurea Diaz Velez; her granddaughter Sierra Kesler; and her parents, Emilia Rodriguez Sanchez and Juan Diaz Valentin.
She is survived by: her children, Nelson Candelario and Mary Lynn Torres-Cerezo; her siblings, Rosa L. Diaz, Amado Diaz and Alba Martinez; and her grandchildren, Nicole, Arielle, Alysa, Dano, Aureana and Tyler.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home (2323 W Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM and at 3:00 PM at the same location.
