It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Mae Smith of Branford, Florida, who passed away on March 2, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Mae Smith to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Leonard "Buck" Conner and Dolly Mae Herrin Conner; and her siblings, Leonard Conner, Jr., James Conner and Donna Mae Johnson.

She is survived by : her daughters, Meranda J. Stephens (Matthew "Bubba" Langford) and Stephanie Simpson (Mike); her close friend Sam Jacobs; her sisters, Alice Cannon (Freddie) and Myrlene Hendry; her grandchildren, Jermey Stephens, Dalton Simpson and Zach Simpson (Kelsey); and her great grandchildren, Liam of Branford and Spencer Stephens of Branford. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
