He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilliard Brown and Lucy Mae Brooks Brown; and his wife Sylvia Stokes Brown. He is survived by: his stepsons, Sydney Ivey (Angie) of Parrish, FL and Sterling Ivey (Denise) of Parrish, FL; his brother Alvin Brown of Miami, FL; and his stepgrandchildren, Trevor Ivey, Bryson Ivey, Caleb Ivey, Emily Ivey and Joshua Ivey.
